Music Quiz : First improve of the random function that chooses the songs

The launch of the free version has permitted us to have many coments in a very short time.

One commun impression comes to : Music Quiz do not go through all the artists and all the songs.

After mainy tests, we have concluded that if the random function that chooses the songs works correctly, it can give the impression that Music Quiz do not go through all songs.

We have corrected this impression, but doing this we have introduced a bias.

Do you find that’s better ?

Ps : All your suggestions are carefully saved and we will integrate them progressively.

The first Music Quiz’s update is online :

  1. New user interface, with mainly an easier and better score and result display.
  2. 3 levels of difficulty (Beguiners/Intermediary/Expert)
  3. An extra : the possibility to start to listen a song from a random point.

The next version is already planned.

Update : Treebux Sms Poll

Because of the first suggestions received, we publish this update.

All the suggestions received are not in this update.
We have choosen to focus on the ones that seem to us essential :

  1. A Pop-up to present you the poll message before sending it
  2. A menu to permit to delete the polls from the home page
  3. An automatic delete/replace of some special characters that couldn’t be read on some Samsung and Nokia
  4. A clearer poll Message
    • Message title clearly announcing that this message is a poll
    • Message with more white space, that permits to be easily read on small screen
    • Message explaining “how to answer” re-write, hoping to be now well understanding by everybody

The message explaining “How to answer” is the most critical point from our point of view. We have tested several messages, this one seems to be the most understable but it is still not the perfect one.
We work on it.

We are really glad of these first suggestions, and we hope to hear more about yours’ in the next days.

We just uploaded the first update of Treebux Sms Poll.

This v1.1 correct several little bugs and add a new feature :
The possibilty to send an acknowledge to confirm the answer of one participant has been well received.

We just published on the android market our first android applications :

  • Treebux Sms Poll :
    A doodle through text message, which means Treebux Sms Poll permits you to organize polls through Sms and to adminstrate the answers.

    We have included practical features :

    • A monitoring of the participants that have not answered yet and an easy button to re-send to them the poll
    • The possibility to automatically transmit the answer of one participant to the rest of the group.
  • Music Quiz :
    A musical quiz generated from the music load on your phone. 4 kind of questions are at that time available. We works on some new questions and we are currently testing different mode parties.

Videos to present you the applications will be publish in few days.
